Originally from Rwanda, Celine Mudahakana is presently working towards a doctorate in special education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research focuses on school discipline, specifically examining restorative practices in educational settings and their accessibility for students with disabilities. Prior to pursuing her higher degree, she was a highschool special education teacher in Springfield, Massachusetts, and she is currently working as an instructional coach.
