It has long been my ambition to use my talent, skills and opportunities for the betterment of society. My research and analytical activities have focused on multiple areas of international development, including global economy, science and technology policy, digitalization, social innovation & entrepreneurship, global health, education, climate change and sustainability, circular economy, blue economy, and leadership and governance. I have worked on projects commissioned by public, private and non-profit organizations such as the European Union, United Nations, GIZ-German Development Agency, Commonwealth Secretariat, the African Union, USAID & various governments and think tanks in Europe, USA & Africa. In addition to my ability to conduct advanced research on multiple topics, I have a strong understanding of geopolitics and experience translating geopolitical developments into actionable intelligence or policy. I have extensive international experience and network gained from studying, working, living in and travelling to over 20 countries across 5 continents. In addition to gaining wide perspectives, these improved my agility, intercultural awareness, empathy and provided an opportunity to understand the world, meet with people whose lives we are trying to improve and expand my networks. My team leadership skills have been improved through teams and projects I founded, and recognized through awards such as the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship, and a Science & Technology policy fellow by the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
