I am a dedicated medical practitioner aiming to make a significant impact in healthcare through my diverse experience in research, clinical practice, and advocacy. My background includes data collection, training healthcare professionals, managing social media communications for organizations, and overseeing clinical trials within Uganda's Health System at both regional and national levels.
Currently pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology at Indiana University, I serve as a Graduate Assistant and a volunteer Research Assistant in the Department of Public Health Practice & Kinesiology respectively. In these roles, I contribute to co-designing physical activity and nutrition goals for middle school children, engage in grant proposal writing, conduct systematic reviews using Covidence, and utilize 12twenty software for active data tracking. I also leverage LinkedIn for post-graduation records, send emails to gather missing information for the School of Public Health's accreditation process, and strategize community engagement initiatives.

Ezra K. Mutai is an Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition at the White Lodging School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, College of Business at Purdue University Northwest. Mutai’s research interests include understanding the role of bioactive food compounds in health and diseases, as well as how diet influences the gut microbes and human health. His long-term research goal is to develop targeted dietary interventions for disease prevention and/or treatment of obesity-related diseases. His research has been published in top peer-reviewed scientific journals.
