I am Peter Omwanza Nyauncho from Kenya. I am in Kenya Scientists in Diaspora Group. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree (Biology/Chemistry) From Kenyatta University, Masters degree in Microbiology from Kenyatta University and Diploma in Education Management from Kenya Education Management Institute-KEMI.
I am interested in pursuing my PhD in Microbiology a broad preferably in United State . My Msc research was on Impact of Hospital wastewaters to the spread of antibiotic resistance in Kisii Level 5 Hospital in Comparison to Kisii University, Suneka WWTP and Riana River- Kisii County, Kenya.

I am a visiting fellow at Rocky Mountain Labs, Hamilton, MT. I studied at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and performed doctoral research project at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe), Kenya, and the Institute of Virology, Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. My work focuses on genetic and ecological variations influencing the emergence and spread of arthropod-associated viruses.
